redONE has launched its MVNO service in Thailand on TOT’s network

Red One Network (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has launched its Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) brand redONE in Thailand with calls and data packages starting from THB 99,- ($3.15).

The Malaysian mother company launched its first MVNO in Malaysia in 2012 and claims about 1.2 million subscribers in Malaysia. In 2019, it launched in Singapore as well, and strives to become the largest MVNO service provider in 10 ASEAN countries by 2022.

Suwit Mangonsilanon, Chief Technology Officer of Red One Network (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said “We have explored the market and the growth rate of mobile phone users in Thailand. It has continued to grow to 93.3 million connections, making us confident that we will invest more than THB 1 billion ($31.8 million) to improve our service in Thailand.

Tay Pei Seng, Chief Executive Officer of Red One Network (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said “Red One plans to target people living in the provinces, including those coming to the city for work, using location-based marketing mainly to bring user traffic directly to our partner stores in each area.

The MVNO is using the 2100MHz and 2300MHz network of the state-enterprise operator TOT (National Telecom)

Red One Network (Thailand) Company Limited registered its Thai setup in 2019 with THB 1 million in paid up capital. The MVNO license 1/62/031 is registered as a Medium MVNO license on 21 October 2019.
