Leeon Group Joint Stock Company has officially entered the Vietnamese telecommunication market with the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service SkyX.
The company has secured licenses from the Ministry of Information and Communications to provide comprehensive telecommunications services, including fixed terrestrial networks (non-radio frequency) and mobile terrestrial networks.
SkyX's Service Model and Strategic Focus
Operating under these licenses, SkyX offers two primary service types:
- Fixed Terrestrial Services: Providing high-speed broadband connectivity for individuals and businesses.
- Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) Services: Utilizing existing mobile infrastructure combined with SkyX’s technology to deliver enhanced telecommunications services through a resale model.
According to License No. 59/GP-BTTTT for Providing Telecommunications Services with Network Infrastructure, issued on February 12, 2025, Leeon Group is permitted to establish a fixed terrestrial public telecommunications network that does not use radio frequency bands within 30 centrally administered provinces and cities.
At the same time, companies are also permitted to provide many types of basic telecommunications services, such as voice services, leased lines, data transmission, virtual private networks, internet connections, and leasing of all or part of the telecommunications network.
The emergence of SkyX not only brings more choices to consumers but also contributes to creating a healthy competitive environment in the Vietnamese telecommunications industry.
SkyX aims to enhance service quality by investing in internet-based communication, integrating cloud-based call center platforms with digital security, and offering “One-Stop-Shop” and “Plug-and-Play” solutions for seamless connectivity.
Committed to Digital Transformation, Digital Economy and Innovation
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Leeon Group, Mr. Lê Thanh Tùng emphasized SkyX’s commitment in his address at the launch event.
SkyX plans to develop value-added services, including fixed SIP, mobile SIP, voice branding, and data security, to cater to the growing demand for digital applications. These solutions are designed to optimize business operations and provide superior experiences for both individual and corporate customers.

SkyX’s goal extends beyond providing telecommunications services; it seeks to build a modern technology ecosystem that facilitates digital transformation for businesses and individuals.
“SkyX is committed to continuous innovation and service improvement, providing users with optimal communication solutions. We will invest in cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with leading partners, and develop a comprehensive digital ecosystem to contribute to Vietnam’s telecommunications industry.”
SkyX’s technology platform will integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and big data to optimize service quality and enhance customer experiences. The company will also develop products and services aligned with market trends to meet diverse user needs.
High-income Digital Economy
The launch marks a clear uptrend in Vietnam’s MVNO market, driven by factors such as government support, the growth of the digital economy, and increasing interest from both mobile network operators (MNOs) and large corporations, and this uptrend is occurring in parallel with Vietnam’s aim to become a high-income digital economy.
With the launch of SkyX, Vietnam now has 6 MVNOs:
