MVNA MVNE One Development awarded MVNA license in Thailand

Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator and Enabler MVNA/ MVNE One Development (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has been awarded a Type 1 telecoms license for Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator (MVNA) services in Thailand, by the telecom regulator NBTC.

Following a stringent review procedure of several months, permission was granted by the National Broadcasting & Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) board for the provision of a pure Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator MVNA license, the first of its kind in Thailand.

One Development is setting up a full turnkey solution of support, connectivity, and technology for companies and brands – to launch, and operate their own wireless services, as mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) in Thailand.

The MVNA/MVNE team consists of telecom veterans with experience from operations in the European, South American, and Middle Eastern telecom markets, in managing and providing solutions to more than 40 MVNOs, M2M/IoT and OTT providers.

With 57 companies having obtained a MVNO license in Thailand but only nine having launched, there is indeed a need for a qualified MVNA/MVNE in the market to work together with the stakeholders to support their digital business models, increase competition, and bring innovative services to Thailand 4.0.
