Samart i-mobile Public Company Limited (SIM) has signed a MVNO wholesale agreement with Thailand’s second state telecom operator CAT Telecom to resell mobile phone services to end-users.
The mandatory SIM registration in Thailand ended on the first of October, after a couple of extended deadlines - with 74.7 million registered and 10.8 million un-registered SIM card users and it looks like a catastrophe for CAT, TOT and the MVNOs.
Sterlite Technologies Ltd. an Indian manufacturer of optical fibers, telecommunication cables and power transmission conductors has announced its acquisition of the OSS/BSS provider Elitecore Technologies from First Carlyle Ventures Mauritius for $27 million.
