CLIENT NEEDS

The client is evaluating the Thai market potential for a service solution whose primary function is to provide mobile operators, mobile virtual network operators and OTT service providers with a turnkey MVNA/MVNE solution. The client wanted:

  • Strategic analysis of service provider strategies, and segments/target markets.
  • Introduction to C-level executives at Thai mobile network operators.
  • Proposal and presentation to potential host operators and partners.
  • Evalutation and selection of host operator as partner.
  • Definition of service plan to fit the Thai market.
  • Trends in mobile user behavior in Thailand.
  • Analysis of the Thai MVNO market.

The client’s service MVNA and MVNE is new to the Thai market, and the potential mobile network operators knew very little about this kind of opportunity and potential.

Yozzo arranged meetings after identifying and vetting potential mobile operators. In addition we were also asked to introduce the service and business model to the mobile operators, as well as join the presentation.

Yozzo provided a demonstration to the mobile operators including case stories from other countries/operators usage of the service and how the client business model was setup. We attended and supported the client’s presentation.

The client asked Yozzo to join the negotiations and to provide local data and knowhow on the usage of the service.

(On going) The client is currently signing memorandums of understanding (MoU) with several national and international partners, MVNOs and OTT service provider interested in entering the Thai market on the contingency that the MVNA/MVNE launches in Thailand. The client has submitted its proposal to host network operators..
