CLIENT NEEDS

The client was evaluating the Thai market potential for a mobile service solution whose primary function was to provide mobile operators with more end-user data usage. The client wanted:

  • The market potential for the company’s service.
  • Trends in mobile user behavior in Thailand.
  • Introduction to C-level executives at Thai mobile network operators.

The client’s service was already known by some end-users in Thailand, the mobile network operators also knew about the service, but had trouble identifying the business model behind the service as this wasn’t clear.

Yozzo arranged meetings after identifying and vetting potential mobile operators. In addition we were also asked to introduce the service and business model to the mobile operators, as well as join the presentation.

Yozzo provided a demonstration to the mobile operators including a report from other countries usage of the service and how the client business model was setup. We attended and supported the client’s presentation.

The client followed up on the presentation and was invited back to negotiations. The client asked Yozzo to join the negotiations and to provide local data and knowhow on the usage of the service.

7.2 million Thai end-users are using the service today and the contract between the client and mobile network operator has been extended. The client also closed a contract with a second mobile network operator a couple of months later.
